Firm Ground (FG)
Firm Ground boots are designed for natural grass pitches that are dry to slightly damp and firm underfoot. They offer a balance of traction and comfort and are best suited to most standard grass fields.
Soft Ground (SG)
Soft Ground boots are intended for natural grass surfaces that are wet, muddy, or soft. They typically feature longer, often metal, studs to provide increased grip in slippery conditions.
Artificial Ground (AG)
Artificial Ground boots are specifically designed for synthetic grass and artificial turf surfaces. They typically use shorter, more evenly distributed studs to reduce stud pressure on the feet and allow better rotation suiting the harder nature of artificial pitches.
NEW
Boots listed as NEW are brand new and have never been worn. They show no signs of use and are in original, unused condition.
LIKE NEW
Boots listed as LIKE NEW have been worn once or twice at most and show minimal to no visible signs of wear. Any wear present is very minor, and the boots remain in excellent overall condition. (see listing photos)
LIGHT WEAR
Boots listed as LIGHT WEAR show light signs of use, most commonly on the tips of the studs. The upper remains in good condition with no major damage, and performance is not significantly affected. Product photos accurately represent the condition of the boots.
Important to note:
Wearing boots with an incorrect soleplate for the playing surface may increase the risk of injury, including foot, ankle, knee, and ligament injuries, due to improper traction or excessive grip. Using the wrong soleplate can also negatively affect performance and stability. In addition, boots worn on unsuitable surfaces may suffer premature damage, including excessive stud wear, soleplate cracking, loosened sole plates or damaged studs, and reduced overall lifespan. It is your responibility as the player to ensure your boots are appropriate for the playing surface and conditions and to look after yourself!
